DC in the rain!!

Well we went to DC on a school field trip. Let's just say we started off making memories. We all arrived at the school at proper time. We waited on some of the other students to show up to find out, oh yeah they aren't going. That put us about 30 minutes late. OK, we are off and running, Mrs Warriner leading, then my car, then the school van, then Mr Payne's vehicle. Down comes the rain, and Oh I have to go to the bathroom. So we stop, what an adventure. We pull out from that stop just to wait on the school van that will not start. We pull back into the station and Mrs Warriner uses her van to jump it. And, we are off again. We finally get to the metro and get on!! Woohoo. We love riding the metro. We get to DC and get off to go to the Museum of Natural History. As we are getting off the metro, you can hear a bunch of truck horns just a blowing. What in the world? Truckers from all over met in DC yesterday to protest the gas prices. We were there to experience it all! The rain is coming down pretty good now and we are all pretty wet. We get to tour the museum and off to the metro we go again. We head to union station to eat lunch and head off to the capitol. As, we are heading to the capitol we get soaked once again, but as Mrs Warriner kept saying: Making memories! When we arrive at the capitol, the truckers have made it there to hold their press conference. Um where do you think I want to be? That's right, with the press conference where everything was happening. I didn't stay there I went on with on our tour. We learned about the paintings and architectural of the capitol. The most interesting is the painting in the rotunda, was done by different men. One man got fired from the painting, but before he left he painted his face in a tree. Pretty cool.
All in all was a fun filled day. Thanks Mr and Mrs Warriner for letting me tag along!

Car Show!

What an awesome day God gave us! There was a great turnout. Preacher is right, the people came to us. We had souls saved and trophies won!! People from all over our "neighborhood" came by. Thanks Coach Leavy for all of your hard work! Enjoy some of the pictures!

Just touching base

Well not much has happened since we got back from Idaho. God is good to us all the time. There is one update: that is Talley Lynne got her glasses. Now, I am biased, but I must say she looks so cute!!!

God is just so good! I have thoroughly enjoyed being out here with my sister. I don't think I can bring my husband out here. He would absolutely love it. He may not want to come back.

My sister joins the blogs!!

Hey everybody! I got my sister to join us on here. She has already posted a few items. I have her link on the side of mine. Check hers out when you get a chance. Her two steps sons keep her busy enough but now she has a newborn added to all of her chaos. She is such a great mom. I must say that is kind of weird to see the roles reversed. I have great admiration for my sister. Enjoy her slide show and pictures.

How Great our God is!! Just look the pictures and how can someone deny Him? Beyond my comprehension!!!

Easter 2008

Sorry it has taken me so long to post about Easter! God was so good on Easter Sunday. My father's doctor recommended our church to another patient. They came to church and got saved and baptized. I had the wonderful opportunity to lead them to the Lord. God is so good. We had lunch that afternoon with my brother and sister in law. We really did miss my mom, but she was where she was needed at that moment, in Idaho. Enjoy the pictures.
